Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Russian fifth-generation T-50 PAK-FA fighter, today known as the Su-57, in 1:72 scale from the firm Hobby Boss. The model captures the characteristic angular silhouette with its smooth blending of the wing into the fuselage and its splayed intakes. Besides the plastic parts the box usually contains a photo-etched fret, clear parts and a decal sheet. The exact number of parts and the particular marking options are given in the instructions in the box.
The T-50 PAK-FA came about as the Russian fifth-generation fighter program and later received the production designation Su-57. It puts the emphasis on a reduced radar signature, supersonic flight and modern avionics. At the time the model came out the machine was flying in prototype test form, so the early finishes and markings differ from the later production aircraft.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic; work on the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a primer before painting. A combination of gray shades, sometimes with prominent test markings, is typical of the prototype schemes. Bring out the panel lines with a fine wash and unify the surface with a satin clear coat, so that the angular surfaces of the airframe stand out.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
