This plastic kit in 1:72 scale captures the early version of the light German armored half-track Sd.Kfz 250/1 with its characteristic angular (old-type) hull. The package combines injection-molded plastic parts with photo-etched detail and offers several color options. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Sd.Kfz 250 was a light half-track used by the German army from 1941. The Alte Ausführung (old type) version had a hull made up of flat, angular armor plates, unlike the later simplified Neue Ausführung hull. The vehicle served in many roles — reconnaissance, liaison and command alike — and became one of the most widespread German half-tracks of the Second World War.
Assemble and paint the interior and the running gear first, before you close up the hull. The photo-etched parts (jerrycan brackets, the antenna mast) add to the fidelity — work with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Spray the base coat with an airbrush and bring the surfaces to life with a wash and dust pigments; paint the supplied tools and jerrycans separately.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
