A complete Model Set gift package with an injection-molded plastic kit of the legendary British Supermarine Spitfire Mk.VB fighter in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Revell. Besides the model the Model Set package contains a basic set of paints, glue and a brush, so you can start building without buying anything else. The set offers a detailed cockpit, drop tanks, a spinning propeller and landing gear.
The Spitfire Mk.V was one of the most widespread versions of this fighter; the Mk.VB variant carried improved armament with a combination of machine guns and cannons. It was used in large numbers with RAF squadrons and with Allied units during the key years of the war.
Finish and paint the cockpit before closing the fuselage up. The enclosed paints are enough for the basic scheme; for finer camouflage transitions an airbrush comes in handy. Before the decals go on, even the surfaces out with gloss clear and use a decal softener.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The Model Set package contains basic paints, glue and a brush; other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
