This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from First to Fight captures the Czechoslovak OA vz. 30 armored car in the form used by the German order police (Schutzpolizei). The model offers a complete chassis, detailed wheels, machine gun armament and an opening turret hatch. The set is among the straightforward, easy-to-build kits that suit beginning modelers too.
The OA vz. 30 was a light armored car of Czechoslovak design of the 1930s. After 1939 the vehicles were taken over by other armies and police forces as well; the version in the colors of the German order police was used for patrol and security duties. The armament consisted of two machine guns, one in the front and one in the turret.
Clean the parts up carefully and try the joints dry. Apply the thin cement sparingly. A single-color dark green scheme suits the police version; bring out the edges with dry-brushing and a light wash. Finish the running gear and the details before the final painting.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
