Responsibility details are not available.
This is a finished model of an aircraft, not a kit and not a model of naval equipment. Easy Model supplies it assembled, painted and with its markings applied, so it goes straight on display. The finish corresponds to a machine of Soviet naval aviation assigned to a fighter aviation regiment.
Tomahawk is the British and Allied designation for the early versions of the American Curtiss P-40 fighter. It was a single-engine all-metal low-wing aircraft with a liquid-cooled V engine, whose recognition feature is the deep radiator duct under the nose. The machine did not excel in performance at high altitude, but it was rugged, stood up well to hard service from field airfields and was very resilient at low and medium altitudes. Under Allied aid it also reached Soviet units, where it was used both by frontal aviation and by the air units of the navy.
On this type a finished model has one practical advantage: the characteristic radiator duct and the angular cockpit canopy are already shaped and painted, so the buyer's modeling practice does not matter. In a display case the Tomahawk goes well with other Allied fighters of the same era in 1:72 scale, where the differences in size and in design approach stand out. Remove dust with a soft brush or compressed air rather than a damp cloth, and do not expose the model to direct sunlight.
The model is supplied finished, assembled and painted. Glue, paints and tools are not needed.
