An injection-molded plastic kit in the smaller 1:76 scale from the Revell brand. The set combines the German Krupp Protze light truck with a 3.7 cm anti-tank gun. The package usually includes a figure of the driver, a base with a road surface for a simple diorama and several marking options.
The Krupp Protze (Kfz 69) was a light six-wheeled cross-country vehicle of the German army with all-wheel drive. It served as a gun tractor and as a reconnaissance and transport vehicle, and most often it towed exactly this 3.7 cm Pak anti-tank gun. At the start of the war that was the standard anti-tank weapon of the Wehrmacht, but later it lost effectiveness against heavily armored targets.
A smaller scale puts the emphasis on clean work with small parts: use thin cement for plastic and a sharp knife. Apply a primer before painting. German gray or the later dark yellow can be applied with an airbrush or with a brush, and the impression of scale is helped by fine accentuation of the detail and discreet weathering. You can use the base supplied for a simple diorama scene.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
