This is a set of acrylic paints put together for one subject, the Lockheed Hudson. The point of such a set is a practical one: the shades are chosen in advance, so you do not have to put them together bottle by bottle or work out what suits what. Which particular shades are in the package, and in what volume, is given on the packaging and in the manufacturer's instructions.
The Lockheed Hudson was a twin-engine aircraft derived from a civil transport machine and adapted for military service. It was used mainly for patrolling over the sea, for light bombing and for transport duties. The color schemes of these machines differed with their deployment, from dark naval combinations to desert tones, so the set offers a basis from which to start.
Shake the bottle thoroughly before use, and for shades with a higher proportion of pigment for several minutes. Apply the paint in thin coats and let each one dry; a single heavy coat covers the relief of the surface and peels away during masking. Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging, because each range has its own. Before spraying, wash and degrease the model and use a primer, or the paint will not hold on a smooth surface.
The aircraft model, thinner, brushes and an airbrush are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
