The McLaren Speedtail is a road-going supercar from the British carmaker McLaren with a markedly elongated tail, meant to reduce aerodynamic drag. The layout of the cabin is unusual: the driver sits in the middle and the passengers to either side of him, slightly to the rear. The combination of the teardrop shape, the covered rear wheels and the smooth surface makes the Speedtail one of the most interesting cars of recent years in terms of shape, and that reads well in a small model.
