DSPIAE SS-C01-800 is a refill of ninety-six self-adhesive foam discs five millimeters in diameter in 800 grit. A fine step for work in tight places.

Ninety-six foam discs with a self-adhesive back, five millimeters in diameter. The 800 grit no longer removes shape but prepares the surface: it wipes out the scratches left by the 600 grit and leaves a smooth face on which you can judge whether a joint really is level. The small diameter takes it into places where a larger disc catches on the surrounding detail.
After the 600 grit and before the finest step. On a model with a matte finish the 800 grit tends to be the last grade used as well, because matte paint reliably hides the remaining texture. On gloss surfaces it is only an intermediate step.
The refill is for users of the discs in this range. It comes into play above all where there is a lot of sanding in intricate places: in cockpits, around hatches, between details and on resin parts with the remains of casting blocks.
Distinguish the discs by color according to grit or store them separately, because once they are stuck onto a mandrel they are hard to tell apart by eye. Do not breathe in the sanding dust from plastic and resin; work with extraction or at least with a respirator.
