Transformers Blitzwing - Smart Kit 02 is a plastic model of the character Blitzwing from the numbered Smart Kit line by Trumpeter.
Responsibility details are not available.
The model works up one of the more striking opponents of the Autobots from the world of the Transformers. The number in the name gives the place in the series that Trumpeter devotes to the characters of this fantasy world, and it helps to tell the individual items apart.
Blitzwing is usually counted among the triple changers, that is among the characters with three forms: besides the robot he also has the shape of an aircraft and of a tracked vehicle. That is reflected in his angular, massive build, in which both machine forms remain recognizable. In the stories he appears as an unpredictable rival with abrupt changes of mood, which carries over into his expression as well.
Large flat panels own up to every unevenness, so sand the marks left by the sprue gates down with finer and finer grades and finally polish the area. Dark shades come alive when the edges are lit up with dry brushing in a lighter tone. Run the boundary between color fields with narrow tape; a line drawn freehand over a wide area looks unsure. Finally tie everything together with a clear coat.
The delivery holds the parts of the model; the assembly, the finish and any accessories are left to the builder.
