TS-79 Semi Gloss Clear 100ml

Tamiya TS-79 Semi Gloss Clear (100 ml)

A semi-gloss clear protective varnish in a spray can from Tamiya, 100 ml. It is a lacquer product intended as a final protective coat on a finished model. It creates a uniform semi-gloss (satin) surface between matte and full gloss, evens the shades out and protects both the paint and the decals already applied.

Use

• a final semi-gloss overcoat for a whole model or for selected areas
• protecting and fixing decals once they have dried
• spray from a distance of roughly 20 to 30 cm in several thin coats
• before overcoating, let the paint underneath and the decals dry properly so that the varnish does not crack
• suitable for car models, vehicles and other subjects where full gloss is unwanted

Who it is for

For modelers who want a restrained semi-gloss finish and reliable protection of their decals without needing an airbrush. The spray is ready for immediate use; all you need do is shake the can thoroughly before spraying.

A lacquer spray, highly flammable, with harmful fumes. Use in a well ventilated space, away from open flame and children, ideally with a respirator. The can is under pressure, so do not expose it to heat.
