About product

Aber, a set of metal wires (0.2-0.6 mm)

A universal set of metal wires from the manufacturer Aber for detailing plastic models and dioramas. It is not a kit but a modeling material. The set contains wires in five diameters, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5 and 0.6 mm, each approximately 1 meter long. The wires easily replace missing or too coarse plastic features with a more faithful and stronger version.

Use

  • Finishing cabling, lines, pipes, handles, antennas and other thin features.
  • Choosing a suitable diameter according to the scale and the type of detail.
  • The wires are cut to length and shaped as needed.
  • Fixing with cyanoacrylate glue; degrease and use a primer before painting.

Who it is for

  • Modelers of aircraft, vehicles, ships and dioramas who want realistic details.
  • Builders looking for a universal material usable across scales.
  • More experienced modelers and beginners willing to work with fine parts alike.

The material is not a toy. Work carefully when cutting the wires and gluing with cyanoacrylate glue, in a ventilated room and out of the reach of children.

FAQ

It is not. It is a universal modeling material, a set of metal wires that you will use for detailing any model or diorama.

Five wires in diameters of 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5 and 0.6 mm, each approximately 1 meter long.

You cut them to the length you need, shape them and glue them on with cyanoacrylate glue, as lines, pipes, handles or antennas, for example.
