Responsibility details are not available.
A combined package of accessories for a model of the American Douglas A-26C Invader attack aircraft in 1:32 scale. Packs like these bring several separate detail sets for one type together into a single whole, so the accessories for one model arrive in one box. The part two designation suggests that it follows on from an earlier pack for the same aircraft. Check the exact make-up of the package against the illustration on the packaging before buying, especially if you already own some of the sets for this type.
The Douglas A-26 Invader was a twin-engined attack and light bomber aircraft with a crew of three, brought into service at the close of the Second World War. The A-26C version carried a glazed nose with a bombardier's station, unlike the A-26B version with its solid nose. The aircraft had a fuselage bomb bay with hinged doors, retractable nosewheel landing gear and a pair of radial engines in nacelles on the wing. In 1:32 scale it is a large model, on which small detail makes a pronounced difference.
With combined packs it pays to go through all the parts first and plan the order of work — the interior and the bays are done before the fuselage is closed up. Separate the photo-etched parts with a scalpel on a hard surface and bend them in a bender. Degrease the metal and cover it with a primer. They are glued with cyanoacrylate in tiny drops or with slow epoxy. If the pack contains self-adhesive masks, apply them to a fully cured finish and take them off after spraying while they are still slightly warm, so that they do not tear the paint.
