A105 Panzer Schokobraun RAL 8017 is an acrylic modeling paint from Pactra. The name of the shade refers to a brown from the RAL color standard, namely to the code RAL 8017.
An acrylic paint can be laid on with a brush and with an airbrush alike. It holds best on a clean, degreased surface treated with a primer. Stir the paint thoroughly before use, because the pigment settles to the bottom of the bottle. Lay on several thin coats rather than one heavy one — they cover more evenly and will not clog the engraving on the parts. Before spraying, always try the thinning ratio on a piece of waste plastic.
The degree of gloss is not marked in the name of this shade — some of the paints of this range do have it marked in the name, and with this one it is missing. Check the degree of gloss and the volume of the bottle on the label and on the package before work, then. If the resulting gloss does not suit you, a closing matte or gloss varnish over the whole model will even it out.
