Acrylic Color Rotten Green - a green for monsters and the undead

Rotten Green is an unhealthily yellowish green from the Acrylic Color line from Green Stuff World, made for exactly what the name suggests: zombies, trolls, swamp creatures, poisonous potions and moldy canvas. It is a water-thinnable acrylic for figures, not a weathering product and not a loose pigment, because other products with the same or a similar name are scatter materials and foliage, which is a completely different kind of goods.

Painting monsters in bulk

• Lay the shade down as the base tone of the skin and let a wash do the work. A dark wash creates the shadows between muscles and in folds by itself, which on monsters looks better than careful shading.
• Do the highlights with a dry brush across the whole batch, because on lumpy skin and warts that is the quickest and the most natural method.
• Poisonous effects: go over the surroundings of wounds, fangs or potion bottles with thinned green, so that the color shows through.
• It thins with water or with an acrylic thinner, and lacquer thinner does not belong in an acrylic.
• Go over finished figures that are played with with a protective varnish, because large areas of skin rub off first.

Who the color is for

For players who paint hordes of monsters and need a method that manages ten figures in an evening, and for painters of individual pieces, for whom it serves as the base for an unhealthy palette of their own. It is usable on terrain, moss and stagnant water too.
