Acrylic Filter Phthalo Green from AMMO of Mig Jimenez is an acrylic filter in a saturated phthalocyanine green for toning green camouflage and saturating the shade.
Responsibility details are not available.
Phthalocyanine green is among the pigments with a very high tinting strength. In a filter that is both an advantage and a trap: even a small amount shifts the tone of a whole surface markedly, so this shade is worked with more sparingly than the neutral filters. The range is acrylic and it is thinned and cleaned with water.
Base green coats tend to be matte and visually dead once they are on. The Phthalo Green filter gives them back their saturation and depth without covering them: under the veil the original camouflage and the transitions sprayed with an airbrush stay visible. It is also used to vary large single-color areas, laying slightly different shades on neighboring panels, and to tone the green of artillery, crates, ammunition boxes and other equipment, so that the individual items do not look sprayed from one can.
For modelers who work with green camouflage on military vehicles, artillery and accessories and want to control the shade once the spraying is done. For complete beginners this shade is more demanding than the neutral filters because of the strength of the pigment.
This is not an opaque paint. Keep out of the reach of children and work in a ventilated room.
