Activator – accelerator for cyanoacrylate glues (AMMO of Mig Jimenez)

Activator is an activator (accelerator) intended for cyanoacrylate (CA) glues, from the brand AMMO of Mig Jimenez. Its job is to cure the glue instantly — once applied, cyanoacrylate sets practically at once, so the parts do not have to be held for long. It suits above all cases where the glue sets slowly by itself, larger gaps or gluing parts that cannot be pressed firmly together.

Use

• After applying the glue and bringing the parts together, spray or apply the activator onto the joint — the cyanoacrylate glue cures in a moment.
• It can also be used the other way round: wet the surface with the activator first, let it flash off, then apply the glue and bring the parts together.
• Suitable with cyanoacrylate glues when gluing resin, metal and photo-etched parts.
• Use it sparingly — a small amount is enough to speed up curing.

For modelers who work with cyanoacrylate glues and want to shorten the setting time of a joint to a moment — when gluing resin and metal parts or small accessories, for example.

An irritant product with fumes — use in a well-ventilated area. Protect your eyes and skin and avoid breathing the fumes. The reaction with cyanoacrylate is fast and warms up slightly. Keep out of the reach of children.
