Airviper — nozzle cap guard, four-slot and reversible

A service and replacement part for airbrushes of the Airviper range from AMMO of Mig Jimenez. The guard protects the fragile nozzle and the needle tip from being bent when the airbrush is set down and during ordinary handling on the bench. The version with four slots leaves the needle tip visible, so the modeler can see exactly where the paint is going and it does not build up behind the cap as much as with a full guard. The part is reversible, so it can also be fitted the other way round depending on whether protection or a view of the tip is to prevail.

Use and maintenance

• It is fitted to the front of the airbrush and taken off first when cleaning.
• Rinse it after every spraying session, as dried paint in the slots changes the spray pattern.
• When taking the nozzle apart, put it down in one place, as small parts are easily lost.
• It also serves as protection when carrying the airbrush and storing it in a case.
