The six acrylic paints of the ATOM AV-8A and Gr 1/3 Harrier Set by AMMO of Mig Jimenez are aimed at the first-generation vertical-takeoff Harriers of the US Marine Corps and the Royal Air Force.
Responsibility details are not available.
This selection contains six acrylic tones of the ATOM line by the firm AMMO of Mig Jimenez and covers the coats of the older generation of vertical-takeoff Harriers: the American AV-8A with the Marine Corps and the British Gr 1 and Gr 3 versions. Besides the ordinary green and gray camouflage, the package also holds a washable white for a winter overspray and tones for the cockpit and the landing gear bays. The bottles have a volume of 20 ml and the paint can be applied with a brush and with an airbrush alike.
The Harrier wrote itself into history as the first combat aircraft in production service with vertical and short takeoff. The Pegasus engine with rotating nozzles let it take off from a clearing, a road or a small deck without a catapult, which made it a tool for supporting ground units right in the area of the fighting. The Royal Air Force introduced it in the nineteen-sixties, and the US Marine Corps acquired it under the designation AV-8A. A white winter overspray over the green areas belonged to exercises in northern Europe.
Stir the contents of the bottle properly and only then pour. Large areas of the fuselage and the wing stand out best when thin layers are sprayed, while small details in the cockpit you will deal with faster using a brush. Apply the washable white only onto a fully cured undercoat, or when you uncover it you will tear the green beneath it away too. Then break the white up carefully with water where the base camouflage is to show through.
The package contains only paints. Use them in a room with air exchange and store them out of the reach of children.
