A kit of the small Syrena 104 passenger car made of plastic bricks. It goes together without glue and without painting.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Syrena 104 is a small passenger car of Polish manufacture from the second half of the 1960s. A two-door body and modest dimensions made it a typical people's car of the Eastern bloc, which lasted on the roads long after production ended. Today the Syrena is a sought-after classic and among collectors it carries considerably more weight than it did when it was an ordinary part of the traffic.
The model comes about by assembling plastic bricks that lock into one another. Nothing is glued, sanded or sprayed, so you need no extra equipment to build it, and the finished car can be taken apart and built again at any time. The shape of the body, the glazing and the wheels are arranged so that the result carries the typical features of the real subject and is recognizable at first glance.
You work step by step from a picture guide. The bricks are joined by pressing, and with small parts it helps to press with your thumb across the whole face of the part. If a joint has to be taken apart, pull squarely and evenly rather than sideways so that the locks are not damaged. The finished model is cleaned with a soft brush or a dry cloth; washing and solvents are out of place, so that the surface of the parts does not suffer.
The kit suits collectors of automobile models and anyone who wants to build a model without glue and paints. It is a good choice as a gift as well, because the box alone is enough to build it. A display case, a base and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
