Axis Tanks & Vehicles Decal Set Vol. 4 − Italy & Romania 1941-1944

Axis Tanks & Vehicles Decal Set Vol. 4 – Italy & Romania 1941–1944 (1:35)

This is a set of classic waterslide (wet) decals from AMMO of Mig Jimenez, intended for models of armored and wheeled vehicles of the Axis states. It holds tactical markings, national insignia, registration plates, numbering and unit markings for a varied range of machines deployed on the Eastern Front and in the North African desert. The decals have a fine, saturated print with a minimal carrier film.

What the set is for

It lets you mark a whole series of Italian vehicles – the L3 series light tankettes, the M13/40 and M14/41 medium tanks, Semovente self-propelled guns and AB 41 armored cars – and Romanian equipment as well, for example the R-2 tanks derived from a Skoda design. That way you can build historically faithful versions without having to hunt for markings from several sources.

Usage tips

• Clear-coat the surface under the decal with a gloss varnish so that silvering does not occur.
• Release the decal in warm water, transfer it onto the model and settle it with a decal softener.
• Once dry, go over it with a matte varnish and weather it with a wash if you wish.

Who the set is for

• Builders of armored vehicles with an interest in the Italian and Romanian armies
• Modelers looking for good alternative markings
• Diorama makers covering the Eastern Front and North Africa

This is an accessory (decals), not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
