A loose grass meal in the shade of a green meadow, intended for growth on dioramas and bases. Part number 1388.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a loose grass meal for building dioramas and scenery, listed in the shade of a green meadow. It is used for areas of growth, for the edges of paths, for waste ground and everywhere the grass is to be seen as a continuous surface rather than as individual blades. A coarser meal goes well with a fine grass scatter and with static grass, because it breaks up a uniform surface and the scene stops looking artificial.
Coat the ground with white glue thinned with water, sprinkle the meal onto it through a fine sieve and press it down lightly with your fingers or a flat tool. Sprinkle in several doses and let the ground show through, as a uniform carpet looks worse than an irregular surface. Once dry, tap the excess off onto paper and return it to the bag; it can be used again. The finished growth can be fixed by spraying it lightly with thinned glue or with a fixative from a greater distance, so that the stream does not blow away material that is already stuck down.
It suits builders of dioramas as well as modelers who only want to bring the base under a model to life. The work calls for no special tools: a sieve, a brush for the glue and patience when layering the shades are enough.
The material alone is supplied. Glue, a base, a model and further accessories are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
