Alclad II Mil-Spec British Brown Bess is a modeling enamel in a 30 ml bottle, mixed ready for airbrushing and drying to a flat finish.
Responsibility details are not available.
A shade from the Mil-Spec modeling range by Alclad II. It is an enamel, that is a solvent-based paint - it is not an acrylic and cannot be thinned with water. The Mil-Spec range is mixed at a consistency suited to an airbrush: the paint can be sprayed straight from the bottle, dries quickly and leaves a flat finish. The bottle holds 30 ml.
A brown tone from the Mil-Spec collection, which Alclad builds around researched period references. The name refers to British military tradition. In practice it is a versatile brown usable wherever you need a muted earthy tone - from equipment and wooden parts through brown camouflage fields to a base for weathering.
For modelers who work with an airbrush and want a shade ready to use at once, with no mixing and no hunting for the right thinning ratio. Enamel chemistry also suits anywhere that later weathering with oil paints or washes is planned - once cured, the coat is durable and will take careful masking.
The paint contains organic solvents: it is flammable, so work in a well ventilated space, away from children and open flame, and wear a respirator and eye protection while spraying.
