A very small round brush with synthetic hair from Italeri. The round shape draws to a fine point, so it is intended for the very finest detail work: the eyes and faces of figures, small lettering, thin lines, touch-ups and precise finishing of paint. Size 000 is the smallest in the range and suits places where an ordinary brush is too big.

Why synthetic hair

Synthetic hair is more resistant to aggressive paints and thinners than natural hair: acrylic paints and lacquers do not destroy it so quickly. It cleans easily and holds its shape well, which makes it an ideal working brush for beginners too. Natural kolinsky hair is even finer on figures, but it is more delicate; if you are looking for a durable brush for everyday work, the synthetic one is the more practical choice.

Use and maintenance

• Suitable for acrylic and enamel paints and for oils.
• Wash the brush immediately after work, so that paint does not dry at the ferrule.
• Do not let paint run down to the metal ferrule, as it would damage the shape of the point.
• Dry and store the brush point up, so that the point does not deform.
