BUNDESWEHR BASIC DESERT COLORS

AK interactive Bundeswehr Basic Desert Colors – paint set

The set contains four shades from the Real Colors line, covering the most common desert camouflage colors of Bundeswehr vehicles, for example with the German ISAF contingent in Afghanistan. These are acrylic lacquers that spray superbly through an airbrush, adhere well and dry to a finely matte surface. They are thinned with Real Colors lacquer thinner, not with water. The set includes shades corresponding to RAL 1039-F9 Sandbeige, RAL 6040-F9 Helloliv, RAL 7050-F9 Tarngrau and RAL 8031-F9 Sandbraun.

Use

• shake the bottle thoroughly before use
• thin with Real Colors lacquer thinner; do not use water or enamel thinner
• apply with an airbrush in thin coats, a brush also works
• do not mix with acrylic (water-thinnable) or enamel paints of another type

Who it is for

The set is intended for modelers of modern military equipment who want to paint German armored vehicles in desert camouflage faithfully. Builders in 1:35 and in 1:72 alike will appreciate it.

These are solvent-based lacquer paints — use them in a well-ventilated space, keep them away from fire and store them out of the reach of children.
