Chameleon Acrylic Paint Set 1

Chameleon Acrylic Paint Set 1

A set of acrylic colorshift (chameleon) paints which, thanks to fine metallic pigments, change the shade you see according to the angle at which the light falls on the surface. The paints are water-thinnable, non-toxic and non-flammable. They are semi-transparent, so the surface underneath strongly affects the final effect.

Use

• Apply them over a black base, ideally over gloss black for the deepest effect.
• Lay them on in thin coats and let each one dry until the base underneath has disappeared completely.
• Suitable for both brush and airbrush; the strongest effect comes from an airbrush.
• Ideal for car bodies, wings, armor, figure bases and fantasy features.

Who it is for

For modelers and figure painters who want strong shifting effects without mixing shades of their own.

A water-thinnable acrylic: clean brushes and the airbrush with water right after use. Shake the paint thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles at the bottom.
