About product

AMMO Cinnamon, acrylic paint

A water-based acrylic paint that is thinned with water or with the acrylic thinner from the same manufacturer. Lacquer thinner is not added to it, as it would curdle the binder. The shade is a warm cinnamon brown, that is a brown with a pronounced red undertone, with no gray and no olive cast. That makes it a paint suited to everywhere brown should not come across as cold.

Use

  • Wood, leather and straps, where a cold brown looks dead.
  • A warm undertone in the base coat beneath later rust and earth effects.
  • Fabric parts of kit and accessories on figures.
  • Mixing into earth shades that lack warmth, where a small proportion is enough.
  • Applied with a brush or an airbrush; always thinned and in thin coats for an airbrush.

Who the paint is for

For figure painters, diorama builders and modelers who mix their own earth and rust tones and need a warm brown component in the palette. It also comes into its own on the wooden elements of ships, wagons and interiors.

An acrylic paint; do not thin it with lacquer thinner. Shake it thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles to the bottom. Close the bottle well and keep it out of the reach of children.

FAQ

Acrylic, water-based. It is thinned with water or with acrylic thinner, not with lacquer thinner.

To everything that should come across as warm: wood, leather, straps, fabric and bases under rust effects.

Warm browns tend to have weaker coverage. Over a dark base apply two or three thin coats instead of one heavy one.

Yes, with water-based acrylic paints without trouble. Do not mix it with lacquers or enamels.
