What pearl does differently from metallic

While a metallic paint sparkles, a pearl rather flows. The surface looks darker from one angle and lighter from another, which on a car model supports the rounded shapes of the hood and the sides excellently. Application tips

Spray pearl shades in even, overlapping passes and keep the same distance of the nozzle: on a pearl, an uneven coat shows as a change of tone, not only of gloss. Apply decals only after drying and ideally over a smooth clear coat, so that no edge shows under them. Mix the bottle thoroughly.
