A large-format A2 self-healing cutting mat from Fine Art. The multi-layer material closes up again after a cut, so the surface stays smooth and does not develop grooves that would pull the blade off line. The mat is usually printed with a square grid and a scale that make accurate measuring and cutting at an angle easier.
Suitable for modelers working with plastic and photo-etched parts, and for art and craft work as well. The large A2 format will be welcomed by anyone who builds bigger models or needs to work with several parts at once.
Do not cut against a metal ruler with a force that would exceed the thickness of the mat. Do not expose the mat to direct sunlight or high temperatures for long periods, so that it does not warp.
