The DakkaDakka - Kill Obsessed Squad - Khorne Arms 1:48 set is a modeling accessory for figures, not a standalone model. It belongs to the DakkaDakka range of the Spanish label Green Stuff World, in which small parts for altering and varying figures are issued. The Kill Obsessed Squad sub-range covers several sets that differ from one another in the kind of part, heads, torsos, legs or gear for example.
Parts of this kind are used in conversions. With them the modeler varies the look of mass-produced figures so that repeating characters in a larger formation differ from one another, or uses them to swap a chosen part of a character for a different version. This set concentrates on the upper limbs, the part that changes the pose and the overall expression of a figure most of all. The subject of the range is stylized fantasy.
The 1:48 figure in the name corresponds to the size class in which the range is issued and is the same across all the sets in the sub-range. Before buying, check the proportions of the figures you want to work with, because small parts have to match the chosen character in size. Try the layout of the parts dry before the conversion itself. Judge the contents of the package, the finish and the dimensions from the manufacturer's details.
