DakkaDakka - Kill Obsessed Squad - Khorne Torsos 1:48

DakkaDakka - Kill Obsessed Squad - Khorne Torsos 1:48

This is a modeling accessory for figures from the DakkaDakka range by Green Stuff World, specifically replacement torsos from the Kill Obsessed Squad sub-range. It is not a figure and not a standalone model. The torso is the middle part to which the head, arms, legs and backpack attach, so of the whole range it influences the final look of a figure the most. The sub-range is pitched in a fantasy and science-fiction style.

Why a torso gets replaced

The torso carries the main division of the surface of a figure, that is the modeling of the breastplate, the transitions and the relief. It is what tells you which group a figure belongs to, and it is its repetition that shows most in larger units. A replacement torso therefore changes the character of a figure more markedly than swapping small parts. The DakkaDakka range is divided up by body part, so a torso from one sub-range can be joined to heads, pauldrons or backpacks from another and give a combination that does not occur in the ordinary range.

What to look at before buying

• The torso sets the proportions; choose the other parts so that they match it in size.
• Judge compatibility with a particular figure from the dimensions given by the manufacturer.
• The number of pieces and the material are given by the manufacturer on the packaging.
• The 1:48 figure is the manufacturer's designation for the whole DakkaDakka range.
• The sub-ranges can be combined with one another.

Who the accessory is for

For modelers who do figure conversions and want full control over the final look, and for tabletop players building units in which no piece is meant to repeat. Suitable for dioramas with a larger number of characters as well.

This is an accessory for figures, not a standalone model. The look and the division of the parts differ between the individual DakkaDakka sub-ranges.
