DakkaDakka - Nocturnal - Night Lords Backpacks 1:48

DakkaDakka - Nocturnal - Night Lords Backpacks 1:48

This is a modeling accessory for figures from the DakkaDakka range by Green Stuff World, specifically backpacks from the Nocturnal sub-range. It is not a figure and not a standalone model but the part added to a figure's back. The sub-range is pitched in a science-fiction style and both its name and the Night Lords designation are the manufacturer's names in the original wording.

Why the back of a figure is worth attention

The rear of a figure tends to be skimped when the work is finished off, even though in a display case and on the playing surface it is visible from a large share of the angles. A backpack gives the silhouette volume and height and breaks up an otherwise empty area. It is also the part with which a unit can be set apart without anything on the front being changed. The Nocturnal sub-range includes pauldrons as well, so a set with a consistent character can be put together. The range is divided up by body part, so the part can also be joined to parts from other sub-ranges.

What to look at before buying

• The Nocturnal sub-range includes pauldrons in the same spirit.
• The part changes the silhouette; check that it does not get in your way on the playing surface.
• Judge compatibility with a particular figure from the dimensions given by the manufacturer.
• The number of pieces in the package and the material are given by the manufacturer on the packaging.
• The 1:48 figure is the manufacturer's designation for the whole DakkaDakka range.

Who the accessory is for

For modelers who finish figures off from every side, and for players putting together a unit with a style of its own. Suitable too where figures stand in a display case with their backs to the viewer and empty backs would be conspicuous.

This is an accessory for figures, not a standalone model. The look and the division of the parts differ between the individual DakkaDakka sub-ranges.
