Pauldrons, that is the shoulder covers of a figure, from the Pandemonium series of the DakkaDakka modeling range. The set carries the Nurgle designation and the sequence number Set 01, which tells it apart from the other sets in the same series. The scale is 1:48.
These are accessory parts with which you replace or complete the shoulders of a figure and give it a look different from the assembly in the original package. You will use them in rebuilds, in bringing the look of a whole group of figures into line, and equally where you want to tell a leader apart from the rest of a unit. How many pieces the package contains and what subjects the parts carry is stated by the manufacturer.
The parts are not polystyrene, so cement for plastic models has no effect on them. Bond them with super glue and lightly roughen the glued surface first; the joint then holds considerably better. Cut surplus material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and carefully sand the remainder so as not to cut into the relief. Before painting, wash the parts in lukewarm water, degrease them, let them dry and apply a thin coat of primer. Without it the paint rubs off easily on a smooth surface.
Figures, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
