OILBRUSHER from AMMO of Mig Jimenez is an oil paint ready for immediate use. The bottle with a volume of 10 ml has a brush integrated in the cap, so you apply the paint straight onto the model, with no palette, no thinning and no preparation. The Dark Green shade is a dark green used above all as an undertone and as dirt, not as an opaque finish. It is neither an acrylic nor an enamel but an oil paint on a solvent base, and it is thinned and blended with an odorless thinner or with mineral spirits, never with water. The product belongs among modeling paints and chemistry; it is not a kit.

Use

• Algae and growth on ships: at the waterline, on the hull and on wooden parts it creates a convincing green film from a damp environment.
• Vegetation dirt: remains of grass, leaves and plant juice on the running gear, fenders and undersides of vehicles that have pushed through rough country.
• Shading green vehicles: it deepens recesses and folds on green camouflage without dirtying them toward brown.
• Green undertones and dotting: dots blended out with thinner break up a flat shade and bring depth of color into large areas.
• Mixing: it goes well with brown and ocher oil paints when creating your own earthy tones.

Who it is for

For modelers of ships, military vehicles and dioramas, where a model meets damp, water and vegetation, and for anyone who wants to give a green finish depth. It is applied to a cured, varnished surface, so that the excess can be blended or wiped away cleanly without damaging the paint beneath. Slow drying is an advantage here: you can blend the paint for a long time, soften it and fine-tune the effect step by step.
