The science fiction kit Dragonar Set 1 (HG) from Bandai. The HG range designation is in the name and determines how demanding the build is; the parts are pre-colored and snap together without glue.
Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic science fiction kit from the Japanese brand Bandai. The name carries the range designation HG: with Bandai that is one of the model range grades, which differ from one another in how demanding and how intricate the build is. They have the essentials in common: they are snap-fit models with parts colored directly in the plastic that snap together. You therefore need no glue, and the scale is not given in the name.
Dragonar is the designation of a mecha machine from Japanese anime. The set carries the sequence number 1, and the manufacturer also makes a second set of the same name; both can be built independently of each other.
Start by looking through the instructions and dividing the work up into subassemblies, typically the torso, the limbs and the accessories. Nip the parts off with nippers for plastic a little away from the part, then trim the rest of the gate with a knife and polish it; on pre-colored plastic every white mark shows. Try fitting the finished subassemblies together dry first, so that you know what will still have to come apart. The finishing is up to you: panel lines will bring out the division of the armor, decals will add the lettering and a final varnish will unify the surface. Leave metallic shades until the end; they are harder to mask and are easily scratched.
The model is assembled by snapping pre-colored parts together. Glue and paints are not needed for the build.
