Sandpaper of 400 grit (dry) - AK Interactive

A quality modeling sandpaper with durable abrasive grains for hand sanding dry. A grit of 400 is a coarser grade - it quickly removes excess material, parting lines left by the mold, flash and sprue gate remains. It serves as the first, rough step, followed by finer grits.

Use

  • Dry sanding - rough work and quick removal of material.
  • Removing parting lines, flash and excess filler.
  • Leveling glued joints before moving on to finer paper.
  • Work from 400 up to higher grits for a smooth finish.
