DRYBRUSH Light Grey from AMMO of Mig Jimenez is a thick, water-based acrylic paint developed specifically for the dry-brushing technique, in a 40 ml package. This is a modeling paint (modeling chemistry), not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A light gray water-based acrylic paint from the DRYBRUSH line, which the manufacturer developed for a single job: the dry-brushing technique. It differs from ordinary acrylics in its thickness and pigment richness — the paint is deliberately creamy, so it stays on the brush and does not run where it should not. It comes in a 40 ml wide-neck jar. It is thinned and cleaned with water, has no odor, and dries quickly; once dry, according to the manufacturer it is not disturbed by enamel or oil washes, so you can continue weathering over it. This is not a kit, but a modeling paint.
The process is simple and fast. Load very little paint onto the brush, wipe off the excess on a paper towel — the brush should feel almost dry to the touch — and then lightly run it over raised edges and details. The paint catches only on what stands proud of the surface: edges, rivets, bolts, panels. The result is highlighted structure and visual volume — it is the fastest way to stop a model from looking flat. The rule that decides success: the dry-brush paint must be lighter than the model's base shade, or the effect will not show at all. That is exactly why these shades are sold pre-tuned this way.
For modelers who want to add depth and dimension to a model quickly, without an airbrush — from beginners to experienced builders who use it as a final highlight before pigments and washes.
A water-based acrylic paint. Work in a ventilated area, and protect your airways if spraying. Keep out of the reach of children.
