Tetra Model Works Dust Pattern Mask Series Set II is the second set of masking stencils with dust patterns for weathering models by spraying. It is not a paint and not glazing masks.

The second set in the range of Tetra Model Works masking stencils intended for spraying dusty and dirty areas. The principle is the same as with the first set: the stencil is laid on a painted model, a dust shade is misted lightly over it and, once it is lifted off, an irregular structure of deposit remains. You will thus extend your stock of patterns, so that the weathering on two models in a display case does not repeat itself. It is not a paint and not a model, but an aid for finishing work.
The base color has to be dry and preferably sealed with varnish, so that the masking does not damage it. Lay the stencil where dust really settles - on horizontal surfaces, in the lee of raised parts, at the edges of hatches and above the running gear. Spray perpendicular, with heavily thinned paint and in several passes, otherwise the paint will run under the edge and smear the pattern. A more realistic result comes from combining: use the stencil on part of the area only and fine-tune the rest with freehand spraying, dry pigments or a stiff-bristled brush. Leave open areas clean in places, because continuous dust over the whole model looks artificial.
It is not a model and not a paint. Paints, thinner and an airbrush are not included in the package. Ventilate while spraying and protect your airways.
