Síra Hobby Streaking Effect – Rust 30 ml

A liquid weathering product from Síra Hobby for a streaking effect in a rusty shade, a 30 ml container. It is not a kit, nor an opaque paint for the base coat – it serves to create the vertical traces of running rust and rainwater that arise on the metal surfaces of vehicles, military vehicles, ships and structures. It is applied to a model that is already assembled and base-painted.

Use

• Mix thoroughly before use
• Lay down small dots or thin vertical strokes from the top down in the places where rust would naturally run (rivets, joints, edges, drains)
• Draw the strokes downward with a clean, lightly dampened brush before the product dries
• Build the intensity up gradually so that the streaks look fine and irregular
• Once dry, the result can be unified with matte varnish

Who it is for

For modelers and diorama builders who want a faithful rendering of rusty streaks and traces of corrosion on military vehicles, ships, trains and civilian models as well. Suitable for advanced and beginning weathering alike, as long as you work in layers.

Apply the product in a well-ventilated space, protect your skin and eyes and keep it out of the reach of children. Check the exact composition and the recommended thinner against the manufacturer's data on the packaging.
