A set of two resin, directly 3D printed SJU-17 ejection seats in 1:48 scale, completed by faithful seat belts. It is a detail accessory for advanced modelers, not a model on its own: the seats replace the simplified parts from the base kit and lift the look of the cockpit markedly. Intended for modern American carrier fighters, typically the two-seat F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler versions.
The SJU-17 (NACES) is a modern ejection seat used on carrier machines of the US Navy. It allows safe ejection across a wide range of speeds and altitudes and is a typical element of the cockpits of present-day F/A-18 fighters.
Wash any print resin residue off the parts, separate them carefully from the print supports and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The seats show to best effect with careful shading of the belts and light accentuation of the details. Protect your airways while sanding.
This is an accessory, not a model on its own. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
