This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:25 scale from the American brand AMT captures a racing AMC Gremlin in modified stocker form with a tube frame. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted and it is a project that suits more experienced builders. The release brings back to life a tooling that was unavailable for a long time.
Modified stockers for American oval tracks built compact bodies onto racing chassis. This model holds a tubular frame with a full roll cage, a quick-change rear axle, a fuel cell, racing suspension with shock absorbers and a Chevrolet 427 V8 engine with a four-speed gearbox and a modified shifter.
Glue the parts with thin modeling cement for plastic. Assemble and paint the tubular frame and the cage before fitting the body. Treat the body with a primer, apply the paint with an airbrush and finish with a clear coat. Pay attention to the precise fit of the frame and the chassis parts.
