A conversion set from Tori Factory in 1:72 scale for converting the Academy kit of the T-50 trainer into the upgraded FA-50 Block 20 combat version. The set is made up of resin and 3D printed parts, waterslide decals and paper instructions. It is not a standalone kit but an accessory combined with a matching base kit in 1:72 scale.
The FA-50 Block 20 is the latest development version of the South Korean FA-50 light combat aircraft from Korea Aerospace Industries. It brings upgraded avionics, a radar with an active electronically scanned array and expanded combat capability compared with the earlier versions. The basis is the airframe of the supersonic T-50 Golden Eagle with a single General Electric F404 engine.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue. Sand with respiratory protection. Apply a gloss clear coat before the decals, and choose the final matte coat to suit the real subject.
This is an accessory set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
