An injection-molded plastic kit of a large airliner in 1:72 scale from Big Planes Kits. The model represents the narrow-body Boeing 737-700 in the colors of the American low-cost carrier Southwest Airlines. The box holds plastic sprues and a decal sheet; it is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Boeing 737-700 belongs to the 737 Next Generation family. It is a twin-engine narrow-body airliner for short and medium routes. Southwest Airlines is one of the largest operators of this version and became known for its single-class cabin and its dense network of domestic routes.
Use liquid cement for plastic and sand the fuselage joints carefully so that the seam lines disappear. The model is usually sprayed with an airbrush over a primer; apply a gloss coat before the decals and a matte or semi-gloss coat after them, according to the subject. The large wingspan calls for a solid bond at the wing roots.
