A set of resin figures in 1:35 scale from Mantis Miniatures. It depicts three American soldiers from the period of the deployment in Mogadishu, Somalia, in 1993, which is associated with Operation Gothic Serpent. The figures are supplied as unglued and unpainted castings in gray resin, intended for the modeler to assemble and paint.
The box holds three separate figures in action poses suitable for a diorama as well as for display on their own. The parts are rendered with fine detail of the gear and weapons matching the equipment of the period. The exact composition and layout of the parts follow the contents of the box.
Before gluing, wash the resin castings free of mold release agent residue, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Both an airbrush and a brush are suitable for painting; the detail of the gear comes out once a primer and light weathering have been applied.
The figures are supplied unglued and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
