A set of colored three-dimensional interior parts for the F-14A Tomcat carrier fighter in 1:48 scale, cut for GWH kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
The F-14A Tomcat was an American carrier fighter with a variable-geometry wing. Its crew of two sat in tandem: the pilot in front and behind him the weapons systems operator, who worked the radar and guided missiles out to long range. The two cabins are therefore equipped differently, and on a model they make up two surfaces of differing complexity, full of dials and consoles. The wing sweep changed in flight according to speed, and on the deck of an aircraft carrier the wing could be folded even further aft so that the machine took up as little room as possible.
Colored three-dimensional interior parts with a raised relief: the instrument panels, the side consoles and other surfaces of both cabins. The dials, the scales and the lettering are printed in color, so the fine brushwork falls away. The set is cut for GWH kits in 1:48 scale. The exact extent of the sheet is given by the manufacturer in the instructions. A second set of the same name exists under a different part number, so compare the parts against your kit before you start.
For the modeler who wants the two-seat Tomcat cockpit finished quickly and legibly, without painting dozens of tiny dials. This is an accessory to a kit, not a kit in itself. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
