HEKI mikrolaub dark green, 200 ml is very fine loose foliage flakes for the shaded parts of growth.
Responsibility details are not available.
Loose foliage flakes from the German maker HEKI from the mikrolaub line in a package of two hundred milliliters. The fine grinding keeps leaf cover whole even close up, and the dark green shade lends a crown the depth that light green on its own will never create. On a model it works as shadow, which is why it is handled differently from the basic green.
Coat the tree armature with flocking or thinned white glue and scatter the flakes from above over a dish placed underneath. Work from the bottom upward and leave the dark flakes mainly in places where light would not get through in nature. Then scatter a lighter tone on top while the glue is still damp, or apply a second thin layer of glue. A dark crown on its own looks like a lump; only the difference between the layers turns it into a tree.
For modelers who work with light and shadow on trees, and for builders of scenes with dense vegetation. Dark flakes also suit covering the joints and structural features of a layout, because in the shade of growth the eye has the hardest time finding them. This is a loose material, so do not inhale it and keep it out of reach of children. The maker marks its landscaping goods as not suitable for children under fifteen years of age.
