A set of finished trees and bushes from the German maker HEKI with crowns of leaf material. Close up you do not see the grain of granulate on them but individual formations resembling leaves, a difference that shows above all in the foreground of a scene and in a photograph. The dark green form gives a growth depth: the trees come across as older and more massive than light pieces and in a landscape they recede optically.
The trees are stuck into a prepared hole or glued by the foot of the trunk. Lay them out dry first and check the view from the place you look at the scene from. Dark trees work best paired with lighter ones, because only the difference between them turns a growth into a wood. Use the same principle within one group as well: do not put all the pieces at the same height or at regular intervals.
