This item differs from the boxed version in its packaging: the model is sealed on a hanging blister card, which collectors who leave their models in intact original packaging will appreciate. The model itself is supplied finished and painted.
The Ford Mustang was presented in the spring of 1964 and founded the whole class of so-called pony cars. The characteristic long hood, short tail and an exceptionally wide range of engines and equipment made it a commercial success the American market had not seen for a long time. The convertible was among the first body versions offered and remains one of the most sought-after forms of the car.
The body and chassis are metal, the tires rubber and the wheel rims separately made. The interior, the outer surface and the view from below are all worked in detail. The length of the model comes out at roughly seven centimeters in 1:64 scale. The blister card allows the model to be displayed hanging as well, without unpacking it.
This is a finished, painted collector's model. It is not a kit; nothing is glued or painted. Because of the small parts it is not intended for small children.
