A chandelier is a hanging light fixture in the middle of a ceiling, and in an interior it is the element an eye notices sooner than the furniture. In a diorama with an exposed interior, whether a living room, a hall or a room with a wall shot away, it therefore decides whether the scene works as a lived-in space or as an empty box. In 1:35 scale, where a standing figure measures roughly five centimeters, it is a trifle the size of a fingernail that nevertheless carries a large part of the impression.
Before painting, wash the elements, degrease them and let them dry. Cut excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder carefully, so that the thin arms are not damaged. Apply the primer in a thin coat, or it will flood the detail. The shades can be suggested with a gloss varnish, and bring the golden or white tone of the arms out with a dark wash in the recesses and with a dry brush along the edges. Choose the glue according to the material stated on the packaging.
The set suits modelers who build city and interior scenes in 1:35 scale and want to get ordinary household equipment into them. Even a beginner will manage it, because hanging it requires no alteration of the building around it. Paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
