A set of concrete barriers and sandbags in 1:35 scale for building dioramas and display-case scenes. An accessory to models of military vehicles and to figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
Concrete barriers and sandbags are among the most frequent elements of field and city scenes alike. The barriers separate traffic lanes, close streets off and shield checkpoints, while sandbags complete firing positions, the entrances of buildings and makeshift shelters. Together they give a diorama a story that can be read, without your having to build a whole building.
The set brings concrete barriers and sandbags in 1:35 scale, that is in a size matching the usual kits of military vehicles and figures too. Check the numbers of pieces and the dimensions of the individual elements against the manufacturer's information on the packaging.
Cut excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder. Before painting, wash the elements and degrease them, so that the base paint holds. Concrete will stand out with a lighter tone applied with a dry brush over a darker base, while the bags will be brought to life by edge highlighting and a darker fill in the seams.
It will be appreciated by builders of dioramas of modern conflicts and of the Second World War who lack small scenic equipment. This is an accessory for building a scene: the model, figures, a base, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
